MicroChannel Mesotherapy

Microchannel mesotherapy is a method of painlessly delivering a substance just below the skin surface where it can work to do such things as increase collagen, improve skin pigment, improve fine lines and wrinkles, and decrease pore size.
Our skin has a very effective outer protective layer called the epidermis or more specifically the stratum corneum layer of the epidermis. This prevents most topical creams from penetrating to the level of the skin where they are designed to work making them virtually ineffective.
Microchannel Mesotherapy uses tiny needles smaller than a human hair to penetrate this outer protective layer and deliver any substance below the skin surface.

Various mixtures of therapeutic agents can be used in Microchannel Mesotherapy
These include but are not limited to:

  • Neuromodulators(e.g: Botox) Also known as MicroBotox injections or Botox Facial; the Micro channel Mesotherary device can deliver small aliquots of botox below the skin surface. In this more dilute and superficial dose, botox works differently and functions more specifically on the pilosebaceous units of the skin. The result is that skin appears smoother, more homogeneous, with improved skin tone and pore size.
  • Hyaluronic Acid: Hyaluronic Acid is what makes up the extracellular space between the body's cells. It is the primary incredient in most facial fillers and in many medical grade skincare products. HA can be delivered using microchannel mesotherapy to plump and hydrate the skin, giving the skin a hydrated, full, and healthy glow.
  • Bleaching agents: Bleaching agents such as hydroquinone can be added to improve brown spots, uneven skin color, and dark circles under the eyes.
  • Platelet- Rich Plasma (PRP): PRP can also be used for hair restoration and skin rejuvenation treatments in men and women. Using growth factors like PRP, injections are made in the scalp in the areas of thinning hair or in the skin in the areas of damaged skin.
  • Lidocaine: A small amount of numbing solution called lidocaine can be added to remove any potential discomfort.
