Platelet Rich Plasma PRP is the part of your blood that helps to clot a cut. These little "power houses" release proteins called growth factors which stimulate new collagen. PRP serum is prepared by taking anywhere from one to a few tubes of the patient's own blood and running it through a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets. The activated platelets are then applied right before and after micro needled skin, releasing growth factors that stimulate and increase the number of reparative cells.
