Apollo Tripollar Skin Tightening

The Apollo Tripollar is a 3rd generation radiofrequency device that tightens your skin, improves the appearance of cellulite, and enhances your overall body contours. The device is cleared by the FDA to be used on both face and body.

How does it work?

Radiofrequency energy works by gently heating both superficial (dermal) and deep (hypodermal) layers of the skin without harming its outer layer (epidermis).
Collagen, the long stranded protein is responsible of skin firmness and located in dermal skin layers; heating these layers pull the collagen strands closer together and cause immediate visible results of skin tightening. In addition, this heat causes an increase in fibroblast activity, increasing new collagen and elastin production by 20%, what translates in long lasting results up to 3 months and longer with continued treatments. We recommend 6 to 8 weekly treatments for best results and a single treatment every six months to maintain the results.

Is Tripollar treatment beneficial for cellulite and circumference reduction?

The hypodermal heating accelerates metabolism and causes the fat cells to shrink. The rise in temperature forces fat cells to secrete fatty acids (liquid fat), which are disposed via the blood and lymph system.

Can TriPollar be combined with other treatments?

Yes. TriPollar can be used in combination with other non-surgical methods if the combination will enhance your outcome, like CoolSculpting, Full Body Infra Red sauna, Fascia blaster, MicroNeedling . The choice depends on your age, degree of skin laxity, and what are you looking to achieve.

How will I look and feel during and after the treatment?

The treatment feels like warm massage. The treated area may feel warm and look pink for a few hours.

What are the risks and side effects?

Both are minimal. Infection is rare because the skin is usually not broken. In case of a blister, burn, or scab, it will heal in 2 to 14 days with regular use of an antibiotic ointment. Prior to treatment all potential risks and side effects will be discussed with you by your medical aesthetician.
